Months after its iOS release, Google as brought the Gboard to Android. Just like the iPhone version, Gboard on Android has a Google search button on the top left of the keyboard. Tapping on it, you can Google search right within the keyboard. The results appear as Google Now cards that you can instantly send to, well, the person you are chatting with. You can also search for images, GIFs and paste them into the chat, without ever leaving the app.
I’ve been using G-board on my iPhone since forever, and I absolutely love it. It’s fast and mostly stable, fairly customizable (with custom backgrounds) and all-GIFs-are-one-tap-away. I highly recommend you upgrade to the Gboard.
