Apple will finally officially enter the wearables place with the Apple Watch. Being the first generation of the product, today’s event will surely focus a lot on how the Apple Watch functions and what ways it’ll be sold. We will also come to know the price (Apple had said that the Sport version will be the cheapest, starting $349) of each of the versions of the Watch. Reports say that the gold plated Apple Watch Edition will retail at a whopping $5000-$20000 which is a HUGE sum of money, and I don’t see anyone planning to buy it, unless you are a millionaire. Apple will also probably talk about the straps, its pricing and availability.
Largely though, this event is going to be a Watch event, and Apple will likely announce a sale date around the first week of April.
Apple hasn’t refreshed its MacBook Air line for pretty long, and rumours point to an all new 12” Retina Display Macbook Air that is so thin that it cannot accommodate a USB port (there will be a USB C-type port). This might be true and we might see one of the thinnest ultrabooks in the market come from the stables of Apple. I personally am looking forward to this even more that the Apple Watch.
