Today we do not need to talk about cars. So lets talk about future cars!
Future cars - the fast, the beautiful, the efficient, the comfortable. Everyone has a vision of the perfect vehicle in their mind. Who knows, these vehicles might be on the roads in as early as the next 2-5 years. The future of cars has a lot to talk about, so here is a bit of innovation already happening:
1. Speed: What’s a car without speed. In the next few years, expect zipping through the roads at speeds above 250 km/hr. Yes, that’s supercar speed currently, but will soon will become the speed of daily commute. so what will provide this outstanding speed?
2. Fuel: Petrol? Disel? No way. Future cars will be powered by something simpler - Hydrogen! Hydrogen is seen to have a huge potential as a fuel, and according to me it will be be a good fuel. Zero emissions and yet huge speed is what will be the need in a future car. Hybrid technology, and the use of separate motors for each wheel will be the future. Huge potential in this field!
3. Comfort: We don’t need to be crammed into an F1 car to go fast, do we? The future cars will be ultra luxurious. There are infinite possibilities and combinations. All I would want is a fully customisable car. By customisable, I mean everything from the location of seats, the accessories, and even changes in the design of the car itself.
4. Safety: The largest issue is also the most interesting to solve. Interconnected cars, speaking to each other by themselves and driving themselves will make bumping a car into any other close to impossible. Now add mobile phones, telephone towers, buildings and even animals to this web, and the possibility of an accident will be close to zero. Huge strides have been made in this field, especially by Volvo, Google, and Tesla.
Now that this is done, lets see some great examples of the future coming closer. The Google car, for example, is an amazing self driving car. The Tesla cars have been the best cars in terms of efficiency, running on electricity coming from renewable sources. GM has worked upon a “board”, a board of lithium ion batteries connected to the wheels by motors, on which on can design and build a car of their own design. Pretty cool right?
So the future of vehicles is going to be so great. Obviously, all this will not happen overnight, nor over years. The perfect car will only come after huge amounts of experience driven innovation. Who knows, we might just fly in our cars in a few decades!
There is a lot to talk about in the future of automobiles. Lots of posts coming!
P.S. Do like my posts, gives me a lot of encouragement! Thanks!
