Martin Hejek is known for his beautiful 3D renders of various Apple products months before they are released. Recently, Hejek showed us his concept of the new 2016 MacBook Pro by taking inspiration from the rumours surrounding the device.
The standout element of the renders is the OLED touch bar replacing the function keys row. Martin conceptualised this to almost act like a secondary screen - for controlling music that is playing or even having shortcut access to the items in the menu bar. He also shows Siri on the OLED panel.
You will also notice that the MacBook Pro only had USB-C ports, which goes along previous rumours saying Apple is going to slim down the laptop even further and get rid of the full-size USB ports. The renders also include the butterfly mechanism keyboard from the 12” MacBook - this may not be a welcome change, because the current MacBook Pro keyboard feels much better to type on.
Space Grey is also included, and you can see that it’s colour perfectly matches with the Space Grey on the iPhone 7 Plus render that’s placed beside the MacBook Pro.
Martin has also shown use iPhone 7 and 7 Plus renders here.
