It came as a surprise, honestly!
Pangu released a free jailbreak tool for 64-bit devices (iPhone 5S and above) running Apple’s latest iOS 9.3.3 firmware. This jailbreak is semi-tethered, i.e. in case you restart your device, the jailbreak tweaks will stop working, and you will have to launch an app and let the phone respring to use the tweaks. While all this may sound complicated, it is actually a simple process.
Jailbreaking your iDevice will allow for installation of software tweaks that are otherwise unavailable. These tweaks are available via ‘Cydia’, an jailbreak enabled apps and tweaks store. There are several advantages (and disadvantages) to jailbreaking your iDevice, including full control over your device’s looks and functions. But this also means you are compromising on your device’s safety and stability.
As of now, very few tweaks are fully optimised for iOS 9.3.3. This may result in your iDevice crashing or not responding correctly. As it goes with all jailbreaks, it is your responsibility if anything goes wrong, and jailbreaking will obviously void your warranty.
The good news: there is a compelling Pokémon Go hack, which includes auto finding Pokémon, a radar and perfect throw hacks! You can learn all about it in this video.
The jailbreak tool by Pangu is ONLY available for Windows and you can download it here.
EDIT: A newer video (below) explains the process without the need of a computer*
I highly recommend watching this video by EverythingApplePro that explains the process in detail:
