LG Signature 4K OLED W series
When you have “W” as in Wallpaper in the name, you can expect it to be super thin. And it is: 2.57 mm thin. That’s half the thickness of the iPhone 7!
LG’s 4K OLED TVs have always achieved industry standards, and this one delivers on the promise. The Signature OLED W supports 4K HDR content, but also has Dolby Vision and HGL (Hybrid Log Gamma). It even matches the Technicolor specification (Technicolor, for those who don’t know, is the company that “mixes” colour in Hollywood productions).
The TV is connected to its speaker unit using a proprietary connection. To allow the TV to be so thin, the speakers also act as the input hub for the panel. The speakers - although just a sound-bar - are of the Dolby Atoms standard, and is a fixed part of the TV setup.
The TV will come in 65” and 77” models and will be extremely costly. And they will ship in the next two to three months.
