I opened this app for the first time guessing it would just be like any other messaging app. But what I saw stunned me. Welcome to the next generation of social networking: Wire.
Wire works like just any other messaging app. Yes, it serves for the same purpose as WhatsApp or Hike, but works like none. The design is spine-chilling beautiful. And though its interface is very new, its super easy to use - easier than any chat app I’ve seen before.
Just a swipe to your chat, a swipe up to open the keyboard. Another full swipe upward to add people to the conversation. Or swipe the cursor right to reveal options to send pictures or ping
(similar to poke on hike). The theming in the app works beautifully, making you feel engrossed into the conversation.
Wire also provides support of inline pictures, Soundcloud music and Youtube videos in HD quality. Simply paste the link and it just works. Again, the app’s simplicity is incomparable.
Wire allows calling as well! In fact, they say that the voice (also in high definition) is so crisp that they say, "Wire’s pristine audio quality makes it feel as if the people you are speaking to are right there with you."
The Wire is a must have messaging app. Once you’ve used it, there is practically no going back to those old styled messaging apps.
Here is a brief about the app. Wire was backed by Skype co-founder Janus Friis, to showcase his ideals of a perfect communications app. The app is available for free in both iOS and Android, as well as Mac. Moreover, it will run the same account on multiple devices, so you can chat from your tablet Mac.
Wire runs on uncluttered infrastructure, so its simple, neat and hence fast. The quality is outstanding, and overcomes problems of dropping voice or errors while sending large files.
There may be a few bugs you might encounter, but considering that the app is just a day old, its amazingly well and working.
